Born in Pusan, South Korea, at age 13 he moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where years later he made his piano studies with Prof. María Teresa Criscuolo at the National University of the Arts, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He presented the thesis on the 24 Etudes of F. Chopin at the said institution receiving the bachelor’s degree along with the highest academic distinction Summa cum laude. He continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Germany, with Prof. Kalle Randalu where he received Master Piano degree with the highest qualification. In 2019 he received also Solistenexamen Piano also with the highest rating in the same institution performing the Beethoven Piano concerto No.5 together with the Baden-Baden Philharmonie under the baton of the Chef-Conductor Pavel Baleff. Alejandro has perfected in chamber music with prof. Ralf Gothoni and prof. Michael Uhde. In 2021 he received with the distinction Master Liedduo at Zurich Univesity of the Arts, Switzerland, under the guidance of prof. Christoph Berner and prof. Werner Güra. He is currently studying Master in Pedagogy at the said institution.

He has participated as an active student in numerous courses, receiving classes from prestigious teachers such as Nelson Goerner, Peter Lang, Arnulf von Arnim, Natalia Trull, Alfredo Perl, Roger Muraro, Carmen Piazzini, Gilead Mishory, Ralf Gothoni, Daniel Fueter, Hartmut Höll, Mitsuko Shirari among others.

He received a full scholarship to participate in the summer course Internationale Meisterkurse für Musik Radolfzell, Germany. A full scholarship was also awarded to participate in the summer course Mattheiser Sommer-Akademie Bad Sobernheim, Germany. In 2018, with the help of DAAD scholarship, he participated in the Internationale Sommerakademie Universität Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria.

He was a scholar of Freudeskreises der Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe & DAAD, Germany. In 2016 he was selected as a scholar of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Oberrhein e.V., Germany.

He is in possession of several awards: 2nd prize in the Competition Interpretation of contemporary music, Zurich, Switzerland; 3rd prize in the I International Piano Competition of Tucuman, Argentina; 1st prize in the XXI Concurso Nacional de piano -Ciudad de Necochea, Argentina; 2nd prize in the I Lumen Artis Competition of Chamber Music Performance for Song and Piano, Argentina; Audience Award at the Internationalen Sommerakademie Radolfzell, Germany; 1st prize in the XXX Competition of Young Students of Music, Mozarteum Santa Fe, Argentina; Young Soloists Stimulus Award, Argentina.

As accompanist he has worked in the sing class of Prof. Haubold and in the Institut für MusikTheater der Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Germany. As a Pedagogue he worked as an assistant of Prof. Kalle Randalu in the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Germany and also an assistant of Prof. Maria Teresa Criscuolo in the National University of the Arts, Argentina. He currently works as a piano teacher in different places in Switzerland.

In 2009 was formed the duo with the Soprano Alicia Martínez, with whom he has continued to perform on stage until then. Alejandro performs numerous recitals and concerts in different Concert halls and theaters in countries such as Argentina, Chile, USA, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland.
